Warehouse Supervisor

The Supervisor is responsible for achieving all department and company goals/objectives for assigned areas of responsibility.
Goals and objectives will combine tactical and strategic in driving business results and continuous improvement.
Skills required with direct reports will be a combination of leadership, barrier removal, skill development, and results orientation.
The supervisor will be responsible for utilizing the managerial skills/behaviors valued by the organization in achieving results.

Responsibilities:
Tactical operations to ensure that the shift operates smoothly and achieves core objectives while meeting safety and quality standards.
Accomplishes warehouse human resource objectives by ensuring employees are trained and equipped to do their job Supervisors foster cross-training to optimize shift flexibility Meet warehouse operational standards by implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements.
Meets warehouse financial standards ensuring productivity standards are achieved and cost savings projects are executed Assign work assignments to employees and track the timely completion Support data submission of key performance indicators including productivity goals and timelines for weekly and monthly reports.
Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements.
Supervise and evaluate the performance of the warehouse.
Be as visible as possible to the staff and manage by walking around.
Interact with customers in person, over the telephone, email, and face to face to ensure customer satisfaction in all manners related to the processes and products.
Monitor and document all accidents and incidents within the warehouse.
Experience in Logistics/ Business Management and or 3 years of leadership experience in warehouse operations preferred.
Fluent in Spanish and English Proven history of managing people Knowledge of general warehouse layout planning and warehouse operations knowledge.
Solid communication skills (oral and written) Proven work experience as a warehouse manager or supervisor Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases PI227820262 Recommended Skills Business Management Business Process Improvement Communication Cost Reduction Customer Satisfaction Databases Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
